The Ministry of Ecology and Environment reported eight typical cases of environmental law enforcement today (May 8).
These eight cases are:
Zhejiang Hangzhou Lin ‘an Rixing Modeling Material Co., Ltd. failed to use environmental protection facilities as required;
Shandong Jining Huaying Medical Packaging Materials Co., Ltd. interferes with the sampling of online monitoring facilities and steals exhaust gas;
Liaoning Shenyang Guorun Low Carbon New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. exceeded the standard for sewage discharge;
Hebei Xingtai Lincheng Zhonglian Cement Co., Ltd. exceeded the standard;
Zhejiang Ruian Daneng Environmental Protection Technology Company tampered with the automatic monitoring data;
Illegal disposal of hazardous waste by waste lead-acid battery processing plant in Weijiang Village, Shajiang Town, Ningde City, Fujian Province;
Zhang Moumou and Wang Moumou in Suqian, Jiangsu illegally dumped hazardous waste;
Excessive discharge of wastewater containing heavy metals from illegal deplating processing sites in Zhongyi Park, Ningbo, Zhejiang Province.
Relevant enterprises and individuals involved in the case have been punished accordingly, and serious cases have been handed over to public security organs for investigation. (CCTV reporter Jassamyn Liu)
